Description       This is the most unique opportunity ever offered on EBay!             “The measure of life is not its duration, but its donation” -Peter Marshall         Here is the story:         I have owned this card collection since I was a little kid and it means a lot to me.  I have been collecting these cards since I was 5 years old.  I’m now 26.  You might be asking your self this question, why are you selling these cards if they mean so much to you?  My goal of selling this collection is to raise money for my church.  My church means more to me then any collection could.  The church has about 110 active members in a small community of about 6500 people. The church is currently experiencing some hard financial times and I want to help.  My goal is to help as much as I can.  Help us to continue our good work in the community.   Many members are very active in the community.    Here are some of the things we do: ·    Christian Aid Center: we provide meals to individuals that are in need and we donate items to them. ·    Open Table: we provide food for homeless and down on their luck. ·    Teen Mother’s of Preschoolers (MOPs): we host this organization for teen mothers and it’s geared toward helping them through their struggles. ·    Turkey Dinner:  we host an annual 55th Turkey Dinner for the community.  We serve about 400+ people. ·    The last couple Christmas’s we have donated money, food and gifts to families in need. ·    We donate to military organizations, charities and people in need.   My plan for the proceeds: 1.   Setup an annual scholarship fund for local students based on merit and need. (Hopefully more than 1). 2.   Improve our financial outlook. 3.   Benefit some of our members in need. 4.   Continue to be involved and have a positive impact in the community.     My personal Goal: I am leaving for Iraq in May and I would like to leave some sort of legacy behind in case I don’t come home.     This is your opportunity to help make the world a better place.
