SEAT FROM OLD YANKEE STADIUM Start Price USD 99.99 Current Price USD 1,292.00 Time Left - Bid Count 22 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Sunday, November 16, 2008 End Time Sunday, November 23, 2008 Location Livingston, NJ See more about 'SEAT FROM OLD YANKEE STADIUM' Description When Yankee Stadium was refurbished in the 1970's, all the old wooden seats were removed, piled in front of the stadium and sold on a first come first served basis.  Seat number 13 -- which I bought then and am selling here now -- was one of those seats.  Someone told me he saw one in the baseball museum in New York but having never been to the museum, I can't verify that.   While there is extensive peeling paint, the number 13 is still visible.  I believe the legs and arms are cast iron and there is rust on them that I did not try to remove.  Other than the peeling paint and the rust, the seat and back are solid and in  good condition.          If you're a collector of sports memorabilia, this would be a terrific addition to your collection or, if you're an avid Yankee fan, you could even sit in it while watching a game on TV.   I have a reserve on this item and if you have any questions about the seat itself or my reserve, feel free to contact me.                               Place a Bid!
