It has a scored card from the game against Chattanooga on Sunday, May 17th. The Vols lost 1-6.The game was played at Sulpur Dell, Baseball's most historic park. The first documented game at Sulphur Dell was in 1870. At that time it was called Sulphur Springs Bottom and was the place where Civil War Union Soldiers taught the locals the game of baseball. It was later called Athletic Park, where the Cubs came for spring training. The Negro AL Elite Giants used the park in 1933-34. The Vols were part of the Southern Association League from 1901-61.
