Description
The NBA celebrated its 50th Anniversary during the 1996-97 season. In celebration of that event, the NBA selected the "NBA Fifty Greatest Players," and in connection with Field of Dreams, an extremely limited edition litohograph was created. The 25x39 inch lithograph is printed on the finest acid-free, archival paper and is individually, hand-signed by all 49 living members of this elite group, including: Kareem Abdul JAbbar, Nat Archibald, Paul Arizin, Charles Barkley, Rick Barry, Elgin Baylor, Dave Bing, Larry Bird, Wilt Chamberlain, Bob Cousy, Dave Cowens, Karl Malone, Moses Malone, (Pete Maravich is unsigned b/c of his passing), Kevin McHale, George Mikan, Earl Monroe, Hakeem Olajuwon, Shaquille O'Neal, Robert Parish, Bob Pettit, Scottie Pippen, Billy Cunningham, Dave DeBusschere, Clyde Drexler, Julius Erving, Patrick Ewing, Walt Frazier, George Gervin, Hal Greer, John Havlicek, Elvin Hayes, Magic Johnson, Sam Jones, Michael Jordan, Jerry Lucas, Willis Reed, Oscar Robertson, David Robinson, Bill Russell, Dolph Schayes, Bill Sharman, John Stockton, Isaiah Thomas, Nate Thurmond, Wes Unseld, Bill Walton, Jerry West, Lenny Wilkens, James Worthy, as well as NBA Commissioner David Stern. Each lithograph is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity bearing the Commissioner's signature and is a limited edition of 250 pieces worldwide. Only 50 were offered for sale to the public in March of 1997, at a price of $25,000. This lithograph is considered by many to be the greatest piece of signed sports memorabilia ever created in the history of professional sports. Unfortunately, George Mikan, Paul Arizin, Wilt Chamberlain, and Dave DeBusshere have passed away since these lithographs were created. They have already drastically increased in value. They are a sound investment. I am selling mine. It is not framed, and is in the original packaging as it came from the NBA and Field of Dreams. Accordingly, I don't have a picture of the original that I will be selling, but the photo along with this posting is of another that has been framed. Again, mine is not framed and is in the original packaging as it came from the NBA and Field of Dreams. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Shipping: I will use the shipping method of your choice, although I will require that it be insured.
