This plate is one of the first Mickey Mantle items produced by Sports Impressions in the eighties.        The plate has Mickey's signature, which was hand-signed then fired in permanently        - using the same technique as  the numbers fired on the back of collector plates .                                   We have in our possession a dozen of these plates.                The signatures are slightly different and in random locations on the plates. The plate is titled Mickey Mantle-1961 is from an original oil painting by Robert Stephan Simon.                 Mickey Mantle is depicted in the traditional pin stripe Yankees uniform.                                   The picture doesn't do this beautiful plate justice!                    The plates are in mint condition and part of a limited Edition of 1,000.
