Exquisite artwork on silk velvet and embroidered with genuine gold and silver bullion thread! Each patch is in pristine, flawless condition.  The patches literally have been sealed in an envelope and stored in a sewing basket for over 50 years. THE FIRST PATCH: depicts the crest of THE CALILFORNIA GOLF CLUB (San Francisco). Patch shows the founding year of 1918, the Golden Bear state symbol of California, and other adornments of the crest of the club, as well as the word "Seniors." This patch is done in rich black velvet with gold and silver bullion thread embroidery. This patch is oval-shaped and measures approximately 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches THE SECOND PATCH is done in thick jade green velvet with gold and silver bullion thread embroidery, and has the words, "SL," which we belive stands for Seniors League.  This patch is circular in shape and measures 2.5 inches across.  The embroidery artwork on both patches is absolutely breathtaking and there is NO wear, NO fading, NO rust, at all.  The patches are very substantial, heavy, and do not bend. The original pins for mounting the patches are included. All Original!
