Classic 14K gold ring presented to Wilfredo Calvino Head Scout for the Caribbean as a member of the 1978 World Champion New York Yankees Scouting division. Top of the ring has a single inset diamond of approx. 1 carat weight on a blue field surrounded by diamonds placed around the perimeter for a total of approximately 2 carats. "Yankees World Champions" lettering encircles the ring. One side panel features 1978 with an image of the stadium while the other has "Calvino" nameplate above New York Yankees logo and 22nd championship beneath (pride and tradition). Interior ring band has the word "BALFOUR 14K" impressed in block lettering . This ring reminds us of the "Greatest Come Back in History" referring to the Yankees historic comeback from trailing the Red Sox during the regular season by 14 1/2 games only to storm back and defeat Boston in the famed Bucky Dent home run playoff game.
