It is an adult glove. The leather is soft and flexible. The adult glove measures 10" long through the palm and it is 12" wide straight across. The leather piping shows wear and has worn off in places. There is no owners name or other writing on the mitt. There is no real chafing on the interior leather. Just a little wear along the leather creases of the interior leather. The backstrap says "It's A Wilson" and Pat. No. 1624696. Nice shiny Wilson brass button. Made in USA. Marked Streamlined and Kurv Form (somewhat faded). Nice large stamped Ted Williams signature on the glove measures almost 4.5" long. Also says "Member Wilson Advisory Board below the signature.  The triple tunnel web lacing is all intact and appears original. The black you see below the index and middle finger is from a light cut to the surface of the leather. Not deep and nothing big, but I wanted to mention. The glove sold for $18.00 in the 1948 Wilson catalog when the top line glove sold for $21.50, so you know it's a quality glove. Nice glove of the Boston Red Sox Hall of Famer.
